“Professor Arrie de Beer was ’n pionier in die staanmaak van die joernalistiek as wetenskap in die akademie”, is die mening van prof Lizette Rabe, voorsitter van die departement joernalistiek aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch.
Rabe sê hulle as kollegas is geskok oor die skielike heengaan van prof De Beer.
The Department of Journalism is saddened by the news that Sandile Mchunu (51), alumnus from the honours class of 2001, passed away on Sunday 25 July.
