Prof Herman Wasserman was recently invited to the launch of the Global Technology for Social Justice Lab at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in the US. The lab is a research hub and network for scholars and practitioners in critical technology and global studies. Prof Wasserman participated in discussions on researching disinformation in African elections, in fitting with the workshop theme on ‘Empowering Election Integrity in the Global Majority’.
