We are excited to announce a short course in Media and Digital Policy in Africa.
This interactive course, brought to you by the University of Stellenbosch in collaboration with the Namibia Media Trust, consists of two parts, each with four modules that can be completed at a pace of one per week.
The first part, “Freedom of Expression in the African Media and Digital Policy Landscape,” delves into freedom of expression, access to information, and online freedoms in Africa. It examines disinformation, issues with Internet companies’ models, the impact of AI on media and journalism, and the role of civil society in driving change.
