Our Journalism Honours class had the incredible privilege of hosting Rebecca Davis, an esteemed author and Daily Maverick award-winning journalist. Her visit was a highlight for all of us, as she shared valuable insights into the world of journalism, her writing process, and the importance of ethical reporting in today’s media landscape.
Davis, known for her sharp and thought-provoking commentary, captivated us with her stories of investigative journalism and the challenges of navigating complex stories. She also discussed the evolving role of digital media, and the responsibility journalists have in shaping public discourse.
